Adds two GitHub workflows to execute unit/integration tests.

Features:

  • GitHub workflow to run unit tests on a new PR and on a push (CI).
  • Ability to execute the unit tests workflow manually by specifying a branch, a tag or a commit.
  • Update Gut unit test framework to v9.1.1
  • In the README, show a badge with the current test workflow status
