shields.io now supports SVG badges – we should use one on our README:

Hmm. Ping @espadrine – is that shields.io throwing the error, or Travis?

I don't currently get an application error. It may mean that Travis is no longer too slow on our end. Wait and see; if after a few days, it is still flawless, it means things are back to normal.

(Clarification: the application error was caused by TravisCI taking more than 30 seconds to respond to our request to their API servers.)
