Possible to add the tvOS 18 Snoopy Screensavers? #1383
Comments
I'm not sure those are videos, but likely they are animations ? If they are videos, and someone finds them, sure, we can add them, but as far as I know we don't know much about them. |
Hi,I have a 4th generation Apple TV (~2015?) and the Snoopy Screensavers are not showing up on my system although it runs tvOS Beta 18.2. I think I read that they only run on the latest model 4K Apple TV’s.On another note, Guillaume Louel, a huge thank you for all your work over the years on Aerial as well as John Coates too! It is the only screensaver I have ever run on my Macs in many, many years! The work that was done to get Aerial to run so well on the last couple of version of MacOS (including Aerial Companion) is very much appreciated as well as the weather customizations you added awhile ago.Happy holidays,JohnOn Dec 4, 2024, at 10:22 AM, Guillaume Louel ***@***.***> wrote:

Update…..tvOS 18.2 was released today. Here’s what Apple’s release notes say about the Snoopy Screensavers: This update introduces Snoopy as a new screen saver, brings ultra-widescreen support for playing movies and shows, adds HomePod support for recent Enhance Dialogue improvements, and includes performance and stability improvements.Screen saversSnoopy and Woodstock take over the screen with delightful animations that adapt to the day, weather, and holidays.Available on Apple TV 4K (2nd generation and later).About Apple TV 4K and Apple TV HD software updates - Apple Supportsupport.apple.comBegin forwarded message:From: John Cordell ***@***.***>Date: December 4, 2024 at 12:00:14 PM CSTTo: Aerial JohnCoates ***@***.***>Cc: Aerial JohnCoates ***@***.***>, Subscribed ***@***.***>Subject: Re: [JohnCoates/Aerial] Possible to add the tvOS 18 Snoopy Screensavers?
