Current Behavior

The latest Yattee release for tvOS (1.5.2-197) has introduced a new issue where most videos won't start playing after you select them. They'll play the first second or so and then freeze. The MPV player will think it's it's still playing because the "pause" button is what shows up when you press up on the directional pad. You then need to press select twice to actually get the video playback to start (or alternately press the play/pause button on the remote twice). Once you do that the rest of the video plays fine.

I reverted back to version 196 and the issue went away. I then went back to 197 and the issue re-appeared. So I'm pretty confident this issue was introduced by version 197. Maybe introduced by this pull request: #824 ?

Note: it doesn't happen 100% of the time. Occasionally I'll select a video that will start playback without issue.

Also, a number of other people in the Yattee discord have confirmed they see the same issue.

Expected Behavior

Videos should start playing after they are selected without required the user to then hit multiple additional buttons.

Device & OS Version

tvOS 17.6.1 [21M80]

App Build

1.5.2-197

App Settings

For the backend I'm using a local private instance of the latest invidious version. I have also tried using the public version of https://inv.nadeko.net and it has the same behavior.
