I think the menu data is under the franchises and outlets response structure. It's largely a proxy to the underlying data source.

While there does seem to be menu data for outlets, I'm looking for specifically the daily menu data for franchises (like what you can obtain from https://uwaterloo.ca/food-services/locations-and-hours/daily-menu, and what you used to be able to get via this).

Gotcha. I'll have to see where the Food Services website is in terms of the WCMS version migration and their plan for that data. It's very likely the older version of the Open Data API scraped that web page. We're not going to provide data unless we can get it from an authoritative back end system or an API going forward. In the future, most of the newer WCMS hosted content should be possible to be exposed through an API, but our options on the pre-migration content are very, very limited.
