I clone vm. I clone devices. It seems that tailscale depends on some uniqueness of machine and tailscale.state file, from what I get /etc/machine-id and maybe others.

Those must be doxumentsted properly in duplicate host key linked docs so that end users can adapt their workflows.

Is it derivated from /etc/machine-id?
What else needs to be unique?

This is important. Deleting state file is not enough.

Seems to be tailscale.cache and /etc/machine-id
