Version release steps

  • perl -cw all code files and address warnings
  • Run -dbcheck
  • Run perltidy
  • Archive old version in nikto-versions repo
  • GitHub management (branches)
  • Update web site
  • Add GitHub release
  • Update versions from user submissions
  • Delete working branch

Good luck. If there is any last testing you want doing just let me know.

Thanks! When I knock out a few more of the issues just general testing of the branch to make sure nothing went wrong with the updates will be helpful. I'm working on a timeline but I'm not in a major rush so I want to make sure it's solid.
