Describe the bug

When I manually edit a file and save it, it doesn't reflect or gets saved. Upon refreshing the browser, the manually edited changes are lost

Steps to reproduce

Open a file in Code Preview
Edit something in a file manually and save it
Reload the tab
The manually edits are lost

Expected behavior

The manual edits should get saved
