My name is Mark Veltzer and I'm a seasoned developer from Israel. I was the maintainer of GNU grep for a couple of years, I'm a member of GNU from about 2001 and I've doing free source for about the same amount of time.

My work on github is three fold:

special projects like open book, which is a Jazz open source book written in Lilypond.
python modules (I have about 40 of these).
demos-* projects for various languages and technologies.
