I've got a plugin I'm developing using NIH plug. I'm able to compile standalone builds using nih_plug_xtask::main() on my Windows 11 machine just fine. On my machine running Fedora 41 Workstation Edition my builds keep failing.
Some build scripts appear to be failing to find system libraries that I'm quite sure I have installed: x11, alsa, sometimes jack, etc..

Here's a log cargo build spits out:

cargo build
   Compiling alsa-sys v0.3.1
   Compiling x11 v2.21.0
   Compiling keyboard-types v0.6.2
   Compiling powerfmt v0.2.0
   Compiling nohash-hasher v0.2.0
   Compiling anstyle-query v1.1.2
   Compiling time-core v0.1.2
   Compiling raw-window-handle v0.5.2
error: failed to run custom build command for `alsa-sys v0.3.1`

I'm not sure what's causing this. Any clues?
