Based on a conversation here: containers/build#152 (comment)

I think it might be useful to allow the creator of an ACI to override the default path variable by setting the PATH environment variable in an ACI's manifest. I don't have a specific use case for this other than a hand-wavy "it might be useful when making a nix container".

Thoughts?

I don't feel too strongly about this one. But if we decide to do it, it should be changed in the spec.
