I would like to have the option to set the service name to something else than prometheus.
Similar to prometheus_system_group or prometheus_system_user a variable like prometheus_service_name.

I'm happy to provide a PR if there is interest in this feature.

I think that is a niche which is out of scope for the collection, the goal is to provide sane defaults and have configurable options where appropriate but at the same time try to avoid having too many options
