This profile provides a way to denote the scientific names of a taxon. A scientific name taxon may be the currently valid (zoological) or accepted (botanical) name of the taxon, or a synonym (non accepted) name.
This repository contains example markup for the TaxonName profile generated by the Biodiversity group. Examples are purely illustrative and may use fictional data.
