I think we should probably wait until reqwest switches to hyper 1.0 first. We'll likely replace the client in the fetcher with reqwest, since hyper's client is being deprecated. No particular urgency on this, but wanted to create an issue to track it.

Update: Request has switched to hyper 1.0, so this is now unblocked.
