This relase includes several bug fixes and many improvements.

It has been successfully compiled on Mac OSX and Linux.
Cross-compilation using Mingw has also been tested.

This is the latest official release from google code page.

It is out of date and has a few known issues that have been addressed in the source repository.

Publication of these release is mainly intended to preserve the history of the project.
