Shifting focus does not work for a bash window #202696

Description

Type: Bug

I just realised that when I have my python files open in two side-by-side view, shifting focus from one side to the other using command+1,2,... works fine, but I am facing an issue when I have a bash window open on one of the sides.

  1. I have a python file open on side 1.
  2. When I copy some text using command+C and press command+2 to shift focus to side 2, the cursor still stays on side 1.
  3. This only happens for bash window on side 2. However, the focus highlight of the window appears to have shifted to side 2.
