It would be super cool if it's possible to pop the editor or the view out of the window and make it possible to work on two different screens.

Thank you, @maxlastglance, for this feature request.

Could you describe more clearly how you would envision this? (mei-friend has an encoding, notation, and facsimile panel, as well as annotation, settings and some other small alert panels)
