Minimalistic build instructions (from GIT checkout)

Prerequisites:

autotools, g++, boost-devel, openssl-devel, libpng-devel,
ehs-devel >= 1.5.0-160, FreeRDP GIT-HEAD,

(For tracing exceptions additionally elfutils-devel or bfd-devel)

The EHS package is available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/ehs/ (Source-tarball, windows-package) and at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/felfert/Fedora_15/ or http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/felfert/Fedora_16/ (RPMs for F15 and F16)

Suitable prebuild packages of FreeRDP-GIT for various distributions can be found at
http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/felfert/*/

Only after initial checkout, run make -f Makefile.am
 
After that:

./configure ...
make
make install

Building an RPM on Fedora:
Additional tools rpm-build rpmdevtools
Instead of make install, use:

make dist-platform

mingw32 cross-build on Fedora:
Prerequisites: The mingw32-aequivalent of the devel packages, for generating
an installer executable: wine and iscc.
The iscc package is available at http://download.opensuse.org/repositories/home:/felfert/Fedora_16/

mingw32-configure
make

mingw32 cross-build of an installer on Fedora:

mingw32-configure \
    --with-dllpath=/usr/i686-pc-mingw32/sys-root/mingw/bin
make dist-platform
