It lacks a way to drive the sequencer from the plugin host.

  • set the tempo
  • start and stop

It seems to have Tempo, but you can't start and stop, or select which rhythm from the host.

From what I recall, the original VST code did not use any time information from the host.
It contained a sequencer which is driven by internal clock only.
At the moment, the port is not any different.

Oh, I got confused between set the tempo and sync the tempo.
