The following tests are failing in my MacBook Pro with M1 Pro chip and macOS Sonoma 14.7.2.

bsdcpio: test_option_a
bsdtar: test_copy
libarchive: test_write_disk_appledouble
libarchive: test_write_disk_appledouble.zip
libarchive: test_write_disk_mac_metadata

These were ran with make check after building using binutils provided by Xcode version 2408.

I see that some of these tests mention HFS+, which has been mostly replaced in macOS systems by APFS. Maybe some tests should be skipped in APFS systems?

I archived and attached relevant test logs.
