"Remember this decision" on basic auth not working #579
Closed
Description
Expected Behavior
Choosing "Remember this decision" should accept the option to Allow or Deny access to a stored credential only once and automatically use this credential to authenticate every successive time the browser accesses the site. I'm sure this was the behaviour exhibited when using KeepassXC 2.3.* and whichever extension version existed at the time.
Current Behavior
When accessing a site for which only one HTTP Basic credential pair is stored, the credential permission dialog always appears, even if I've previously selected "Remember this decision" and Allow.
Steps to Reproduce (for bugs)
- Create a new entry in an open database which is connected to KPXC-Browser. Access an HTTP basic auth protected resource, such as:
https://jigsaw.w3.org/HTTP/Basic/ - The extension prompts for permission to access the database entry. Choose "Remember this decision" and Allow.
- Close the browser, and reopen.
- Access the same URL again. The extension once again prompts for permission.
