this is a meta issue to track all the missing coverage, the coverage report is 5 months old so the I'll handle the test accordingly (if test exist i'll take into account that too):

• sbom_manager (the missing coverage are for the unused files and are removed now in chore: removed Old cyclonedx and spdx parser from sbom manager #4076 )
• egg_updater (version importing)
• data_sources test: improve coverage for data_sources #4256
• output_engine test: improve coverage for output_engine #4255

Note: this issue will be updated to include other missing coverage.
