I evaluate Profile-Guided Optimization (PGO) compiler optimization on different projects (like compilers, interpreters, virtual machines, databases, etc.) - all my results are available in my GitHub repo. Since Bpftime has some parts (like VM) that could be potentially optimized with PGO - I think trying to apply PGO to it can be an interesting thing. If you already tried to play with PGO on Bpftime - it will be interesting to read your results with it!

Not sure how performance is critical for VM (or other Bpftime parts) for now - it's all up to the maintainers. I will be happy to answer all your questions about PGO.
