After downloading the following two installers from https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download:

• dotnet-sdk-9.0.102-win-x64.exe
• dotnet-sdk-8.0.405-win-x64.exe

I was not able to install them because both of them brought up the modify/repair dialog. Upon further inspection of the digital certificate signing times, they were both from early December 2024, which suggests to me that these were both renames of the previous installers and not the updated SDK installers.
