Like its name implies, FIR is meant to be Fast. For this reason, you have the possibility to speed up the creation of incidents using Incident Templates.

By default, there is no incident templates defined, and the New event button looks like this:

With Incident Templates defined, you can choose a specific template when creating an incident so that the creation form comes with default values. Here is how you select a specific when some are defined:

To add an incident template, go to the administration panel, and click on Add on the Incident template row. You should then give a Name to your template. The Name will then appear in the dropdown menu when adding an incident. All the remaining fields are optional, and represent the fields that will be pre-filled when using this template.

You can also use the special name default to create a default incident template.
