Weird behaviour when using with shellshape (gnome extension)

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open gnome-mpv and nautilus
  2. Set shellshape to tiling mode.
  3. Open video with gnome-mpv in nautilus.

Actual Results:
gnome-mpv hangs and until you set it in full-screen mode and after that in window mode. Then it starts working and can be tiled.

Expected Results:
Video starts playing?

Version:
gnome-mpv-git from AUR repo

Additional Information:
Arch Linux, Radeon graphics card, i5 processor.

Confirmed. Autofitting triggers this. As a temporary workaround, you can disable autofitting with --autofit=0.

Yup, it is working with ---autofit=0. Thanks!

This is probably a shellshape bug. Resizing any tiled window in any way other than manually dragging one of its edges/corners will freeze that window.
