Max for Live Tools for Time Series Sonification
Two handy M4L devices for sonifying time series data, events are triggered according to metronome time values. Add lists of numbers in the text box directly or load from CSV. CSV must be formatted Max/MSP style with index values e.g.
0, 1.0; 1, 2.0;
Devices are in the presets folder. Demo usage in the Ableton session.
Maps time series data to a single stream of MIDI note numbers.
Maps time series data to a real-time control value that can be mapped to parameters in Live.
