gCaliper is a screen caliper to measure pixel distances, even with variable rotation. The theme is customizable. It requieres Mono / NET 4.0 and GtkSharp 3 and runs on Linux, Mac and Windows.
You need to install the dependencies. Example for Ubuntu/Debian:
sudo apt-get install mono-complete gtk-sharp3
Than:
git clone https://github.com/Arakis/gcaliper.git
cd gcaliper
make
Launch gcaliper:
src/bin/gcaliper.exe
Alternatively install it globally:
sudo make install
For uninstall:
sudo rm -f /usr/bin/gcaliper
sudo rm -rf /usr/share/gcaliper/
