With the new version of wp-scripts React has been updated to version 18 and this is a breaking change because all websites before WordPress 6.2 aren't supporting this version of React and the plugin would break.
On one hand we must always upgrade to the latest version (e.g. for security concerns) but on the other hand we cannot stop supporting for earlier version of WordPress (or if we do it must be done carefully).
What are your thoughts? Is it always worth upgrading to the latest version, or is it better to do so by thinking about which versions of WordPress are being left out?
last thing: is there any place to find a compatibility chart between wp-script and WordPress?
