It should be possible to completely disable maxlag when WDTK is used in interactive tools. When flooding (rapid manual edits), maxlag might be still sensible, but there must be some upper bound on the total delay, so that semi-automated edits do not completely hang when some bot creates high lag.
Current workaround is to set very high maxlag.
