[0.2] UVNF - Settled Vision
After having to work with my UVNF for a school project, I decided to go back and settle some stuff before going further into the future with UVNF. I've gotten rid of the Story Editor and Story Elements Editor Windows, since they did not feel part of the framework as much as the Node Editor did. It also complicated new releases and increased the time between the updates, due to the fact that they're not written with a dynamic code base.
So in this Release I got rid of the Story Editor and Story Elements, and settled on making the Node Editor the selling feature of this framework.
In a future update I want to fully utilize the full potential of this framework by adding output nodes for important values, exposing Node values to the Node Editor for simplicity and up the performance of the Node Editor.
I hope you enjoy this new release!
There are two packages.
- One contains the bare minimum to get started with UVNF (UVNF_Core_0.2).
- The other contains examples and basic sprites you can test around with (UVNF_Extras_0.2).
You can import the .unitypackage to start using UVNF!
Please let me know what you think about it, any bugs that you find or about anything else on Discord (Velorexe#8403).
[0.1] UVNF - First Release
Wow, it's been a long time since I touched this project.
Since I got some extra Stars and Followers on GitHub I got motivated to start working on it again.
So I figured the least I could do is roll out some basic releases to get some feedback going!
