Hello, In Bully: Scholarship Edition, I've started my first playthrough, and after applying the widescreen fix I noticed that the camera felt off when compared to unmodded 4:3.
Sure enough, going back and comparing with 4:3, the camera seems closer to the ground than it's supposed to be.
I very much appreciate the work that goes into these widescreen fixes for these games, though I would really appreciate if this could be fixed. I know the fix for this game in particular is quite old, but hopefully this can be looked at.
Jimmy seems to be higher up on the screen than he should be. Normally, in the unmodded game when standing still, his head ends up being placed directly in the center of the screen. With the widescreen fix applied, his head is far above the center.
When running in the unmodded game, his head ends up being slightly below the center of the screen. With the widescreen fix applied, again, his head ends up far above the center.
This behavior, while just being plain incorrect, gives the game an incredibly claustrophobic feeling in my opinion. To be fair, this seems to be an issue with the unmodded game's widescreen mode as well, but it would be great if the camera placement matching the original 4:3 mode could be looked into.
Also, to report on another issue, Bully: SE's widescreen fix also suffers from what a lot of widescreen mods for old games suffer from, the FOV in cutscenes being too far zoomed out. This is an issue I'm unsure how easy it would be to go about fixing, since lots of games have this problem when moving to widescreen, but it would also be great if this could be looked into.
Thanks so much for the awesome mods and thank you for your consideration in getting these issues fixed.
