A block, sometimes known as a ban, is an action by the TOG and/or the MyG4mes moderation team that prevents a user from using the MyG4mes World or sharing games, either if they agree to or do not agree to the Community Guidelines and Terms of Use.

A member of the TOG or moderation team cannot be blocked from accessing MyG4mes' online services.

If they want to come back, they can appeal at the MBAS (MyG4mes Block Appeal System). They can also email Tyler887 at tylermageeshields@gmail.com. Only the requester, TOG members, and the moderation team can see an appeal on MBAS. An appeal sent via email can only be viewed by Tyler and you.

Unblocks

A user can be unblocked by using the MBAS or by emailing the email mentioned above. They need to provide:

  • why they were blocked, and
  • a message telling the TOG they are sorry.

Automation

See also: MARS § Auto-Block

An automated bot that is not in the TOG, but the moderation team, automates blocks when a child or teenager under 18 plays a game that is refused classification. It checks every half second.
