The Motivation

Going from the last to the first workspace is tedious.

The Solution

The cube should (optionally) wrap around so that the last workspace is adjacent to the first instead of being on the other side of the world.

The Alternatives

Ideally this feature should be controllable with the Workspace Switch Wraparound extension.

I second this.

Hi there; thanks for the suggestion. This is a duplicate of #14, yet I'll leave this open as it's a valid request. Nevertheless, this will be very tricky to implement and I won't have the time to attempt this in the near future. If anybody want's to give this a try, just drop a note here and I can provide some pointers!

I have a keybinding that does something like wmctrl -s ${ (current + inc) % num_desktops }
sure it jumps from last to first the long way, but it's better than nothing.

There are extensions that enable wrap-around, so that's not the problem. The problem is it jumps the long way, so the animation is a bit janky.

@FelixFourcolor What extensions enable wrap around for this kind of thing?
