On importing pymesh I was getting an error from a line in the init file that contained: from numpy.testing import Tester
It looks like numpy removed support for nosetests and the Tester class after v1.24
Downgrading to numpy 1.24 seems to work as a stop-gap measure: pip install numpy==1.24

The code also seems to work with numpy 1.26.4 with the lines importing Tester commented out
