In what situation are you experiencing subpar performance?

I encountered performance issues while installing PostHog on GCP for self-hosting. The installation was taking too long and stalling during the setup process.

How to reproduce

  1. Follow the [PostHog self-hosted installation guide](https://posthog.com/docs/self-host).
  2. Use GCP with the recommended instance spec of 8GB of RAM.
  3. Set the storage to 10GB or 20GB and try to install PostHog.

Environment

Additional context

The installation was taking a long time and displaying the message: "We will need to wait ~5-10 minutes for things to settle down, migrations to finish, and TLS certs to be issued." It only worked after increasing the storage to 30GB.

fair point... i had to bump specs to get things running on Hetzner too

have increased recommendations here PostHog/posthog.com#10238
