Hi, I'm Muktan. I have interests in Machine Learning, specifically Natural Language Processing (NLP), Speech Technologies, and Recommender Systems. Moreover, I play chess ♟️ and listen to Piano 🎹 and other musical instruments.

• Currently working as MLE @ Finesse, LA based AI driven fashion startup
• Interned as Machine Learning Engineer (Summer '22) at Apple. I worked on building Noise Robust Acoustic Feature Extractor.
• Interned in Amazon Video team as Applied Scientist (Fall '22) working on Reinforcement Learning based next-item Recommender. Published and Presented my work at Amazon internal conference as first author.
• Opensource contribution in Pytorch PR #2021, HuggingFace PR #11538, Optuna PR #2709 and Pandas PR #39932, #40107
• Couple of Research work in Deep Learning domain. One work was accepted in 17th International Conference on Natural Language Processing organised by IIT Patna and NLPAI. Available on ACL Anthology. And another work is accepted in ACM TALLIP
• Ex-Data Science Intern at Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). Performed Data Analysis and build calibration algorithm with global precipitation datasets. Also, interned at Atliq as Python Software developer (Summer '20)
• Currently, Pursuing Master's in Computer Science @ The University Of Texas at Dallas. Completed B. Tech. in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University, Nadiad
