Describe the bug
Clicking the zoom in/out widget button a few times in rapid succession should zoom quicker, not slower than hitting it just once. It acts like the current zoom gets cancelled by the subsequent click or something. Rapid fire clicking +/- super fast many times makes the map barely zoom at all.

It should behave like google maps, where rapid fire clicking a zoom button a 3 times moves 3 zoom levels.
