Productivity Dashboard Chrome Extension

A comprehensive productivity tool designed to boost your daily efficiency and workflow management. This Chrome extension provides a centralized dashboard for managing tasks, quick links, and various productivity features.

Features

1. Quick Links 🟢

  • Customizable shortcuts to frequently visited websites
  • Easy addition and removal of links
  • Persistent storage across sessions

2. To-Do List 🟢

  • Priority-based task management (High, Medium, Low)
  • Automatic sorting based on priority
  • Daily reset for a fresh start each day

3. Pomodoro Timer 🟢

  • 25-minute work sessions with 5-minute breaks
  • Audio alarm at the end of each session
  • Visual countdown timer

4. AI Assistant 🟡 [Scraped for lightweight keeping]

  • Integrated Large Language Model (LLM) for quick queries
  • Voice assistant capability for hands-free interaction
  • API-based responses for accurate and up-to-date information

5. Read Later 🟢

  • Save interesting articles or resources for future reading
  • Easy addition and removal of links

6. Keyboard Shortcuts 🟡 [Paritally implemented in Quick Links]

  • Quick access to common actions:
    • Ctrl + Q: Add new Quick Link
    • Ctrl + T: Focus on To-Do input
    • Ctrl + R: Add new Read Later item
    • Ctrl + F: Toggle Focus Mode
    • Ctrl + A: Activate AI Assistant

  • Weekly and monthly productivity trends

Installation

  1. Clone this repository or download the ZIP file.
  2. Open Chrome and navigate to chrome://extensions.
  3. Enable "Developer mode" in the top right corner.
  4. Click "Load unpacked" and select the directory containing the extension files.

Usage

After installation, click on the extension icon in your Chrome toolbar to open the Productivity Dashboard. You can then start adding tasks, setting up quick links, and utilizing the various productivity tools.

Configuration

To set up the AI Assistant and email notifications:

  1. Open the extension options page.
  2. Enter your API key for the LLM service.
  3. Configure your email settings for notifications.
