Prince Protect

=============

About

A small game written by Daniel Savage over the summer of 2012 in C and SDL. One or two players can play as princesses trying to protect their harem of boyfriends from incoming ninjas.

Art Assets License

Included assets (this means anything not README, CODE, or SDL-related), except for the FrostTree Games logo, are available for re-use under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 3.0 Unported license. You can re-compile and re-sell my game if you want, but you'll need to provide your own art.

Compiling

At the moment, the only platform available for immediate compiling is Windows. To compile you'll need the following:

  • MinGW
  • SDL 1.2
  • SDL_mixer 1.2
  • SDL_image 1.2
  • SDL_ttf 1.2

To compile, simply run GNU Make in the folder:

$ mingw32-make

To remove all .exe and .o files:

$ mingw32-make clean

At the moment, ports for Linux and Mac OS X are not supported, although the source code has been compiled and run on other operating systems. If anyone is interested in forking/porting, let me know, and we can credit you!

  • SDL_image
  • SDL_mixer
  • SDL_ttf

DLLs used for running the program originally are included in the repo. Using a newer one years from now (2013) may prove difficult at times.
