Problem description

The Placement of the new Part_CoordinateSystem is ignored when a sketch is attached to it.

  1. Open the attached file (remove the .zip extension).
  2. Activate the Body.
  3. Select XY-plane001.
  4. Invoke PartDesign_NewSketch.
  5. result: the new sketch is aligned to the global XY plane.
