The Settlers 4 isn't compatible with a OS > Win 7 - this includes Win10.

Nevertheless it is definitely possible to get the game running on such a system but it needs some special dll's which perhaps doesn't work on every Win10 system.

I will update the widescreen tool... if i find some time, we will see.

Thanks for the tool, works nicely on Windows 10 with two addidition DLLs (Vodoo grafix emulator or sth like that).
One minor problem (don't know if its Win10-exclusive): Below the minimap there is a small space on 1920x1080, i guess the difference of 1080-1024 on a width of the menubar, so a 56x200 or so.
This area is kinda... lagging behind, like a crashed window, and pulling some edges through it. Tried to make a screenshot, but doesn't work :(
