Mod

FTB Quests

Description

I was making an adventure/rpg modpack and i wanted to make the player choose a path on the progression of his character, like make him specialize on ranged weapons or male weapons (with origins powers), but not both.

I think its a cool idea to implement this kind of pathing.

A possibility here would be for quests to have an "excludes" list of other quest ID's; if the player has completed any of those quests, then this quest would not be startable by the player.

An alternative could be to add a 'max advance links' in the edit section of the root quest (the sword). Once the max advance links threshold (> 1) has been reached, any quests that are not completed are simply hidden.

That could also work, yeah. I think a better name might be "Max Completable Dependencies" though.
