+                                <p>The Canadian infrastructure was massively boosted through the efforts of the governments attempt to support the war effort. Roads, buses, railways, military bases, and other infrastructures were built to help aid in the war by making travel and transportation easier for the military. These investments would provide job opportunities for Canadians who were still recovering from the great depression. When war had first begun Prime Minister Mackenzie King had hoped for Canada to remain as a supplier for other nations and although Canada had eventually engaged in total war, his hope remained true as Canada was one of the major suppliers for the allies. Throughout the war Canada’s economic state greatly improved due to the aforementioned supplying duties which boosted the strength of  Canadian factories which were heavily invested in. After the war had ended these same factories still thrived being a catalyst for Canada’s succession down the line.</p>
