1 critically injured after plane crashes into Camarillo Airport

1 injured in Camarillo plane crash

One person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.

CAMARILLO, Calif. - One person was critically injured after an ultralight plane crashed into a building at the Camarillo Airport Thursday afternoon.

The crash was reported just before 2 p.m., according to the Ventura County Fire Department.

The person was taken to the hospital for treatment; their condition is not known at this time.

Officials haven't said yet how many people were on the plane; the cause remains under investigation.
