I purchased Music Studio and the 60 instrument bundle on my iPad. I also put Music Studio on my iPhone, which worked fine, but the 60 instrument bundle does not appear there. Do you have to pay it twice?

No, Music Studio (as most other apps) won’t charge you twice for the same in-app product  But you need to be logged in with the same Apple account on your iPad and iPhone, otherwise Music Studio cannot know that you’re the same person. Simply go to Instruments, tap Shop, and tap “Restore”, to restore your past purchases (no matter on which device they were made).
Hope that helps!

Now I still have an old iPhone, model 5S, with IOS 12.5.7. which I thought I would use in addition to the iPad (which you don’t always have with you). Of course I also have a more recent iPhone (11), but I always want to be available on it.
The App Store indicates that 12.4 is the minimum required.
However, the restore does not work for the 60 Instruments bundle.
I keep getting the next (error) messages:
Purchase Restored - 1 purchase was restored
In-App Purchase Error - There was an error restoring a purchase. Please try again.
I tried several times, without results. And the purchase was done with the same account om iPhoneand iPad.

I also tried putting Music Studio on my iPhone 11 and this worked flawlessly, including the extra instruments.

The conclusion is that the iPhone 5S is too old to use for Music Studio?
Not insurmountable, but I’m especially interested in why it doesn’t work.
You may still have an opportunity to respond. Thank you in advance.
Sincerely
