Should we hold a Secret Santa?
Sorry, I've been a little too busy to really hold this in the usual time frame (November signups, December matches).
Would people like to hold short sign ups andthe like? it wont be as big and grandiose as usual unless we actually just extend the dates (December signups, pairing on January, deadline on February)
If you want to participate, just send a note with the following and if there's enough people, we can hold it no problem:
- What Fire Emblem games have you played? (Limit it to 2-3)
- Out of those, which is your all-time favorite?
- List up to six of your fave characters (any game):
- List up to five of your fave Supports or romantic pairings (Please Specify if Supports are Romantic):
- Are you okay with working on Yaoi/Yuri ships?
- Will you be drawing or writing your gift?
- Do you have a preference to receiving drawing or writing in return?
- Do you want to be sorted by skill level? Or do you prefer it to be random?
- Have you participated in the gift exchange in past but haven't received a gift?

Experimenting with Folders
Quick reminder that the Secret Santa Signups end on November 25th!

As part of an experiment to bring active moderators, we are temporarily opening Folders!
Same rules apply as before:
- Post in the proper folder
- Put Mature warnings when necessary
- Only Fire Emblem related media depicting canon characters (Robin/Corrin/Avatars are exceptions)
- Put where the character is from, specially the more obscure ones
Whenever you post something involving multiple games (I.e. Marth from Archanea fighting Roy from Elibe) post it to either Featured II/III and an administrator will take a look.
Otherwise Moderators will be accepting your art at a quicker pace if all things go as planned.
2020's 13th Secret Santa Folders open!

Edit2: The Pair ups have been made and sent. Outside of a minor hiccup when copy pasting the notes themselves, everyone should be ready and have their Secret Santas!

It's that time of the year, Lords and ladies! Sign up to create a Fire Emblem themed gift (either drawing or fanfiction), and receive a gift in exchange. We are starting sign ups a little early to have more time for your gifts! Normal club submission rules still apply.
There is a maximum limit of 100 participants each year.

WHEN YOU WILL GET YOUR SECRET PARTNER: Somewhere around November 25th to 30th, 2019! You will receive a reply note by November 25th with the information of whomever you are paired with (it will be the note that they sent in to sign up).
Pairings are not random. They are based upon what games you enjoy (If you Enjoy FE Heroes, please specify other games too!) and, to some extent, artistic effort.
So please check your notes!
DO NOT TELL THE PERSON YOU ARE THEIR SECRET SANTA! IT'S A SURPRISE! *** Game/character preferences might not be perfect, but try your best to flex your creative skills and give the other person a good gift!
WHAT TO DO WHEN YOU GET YOUR PARTNER: This is the person you will be making a drawing or writing gift for.
Read over the note you're sent to take into consideration what they might like, then get to drawing or writing!
You can also look at their gallery and faves to get a better idea of what would make their winter holiday more merry.
Again, it's a secret! You want to surprise them! Have fun while doing it and be excited for the surprise you might get too!
WHERE TO SUBMIT YOUR GIFT: SUBMIT TO THE ANNUAL SECRET SANTA FOLDER This folder will be open for submission December 18th, 2020, and will remain open until February 10th, 2020. Submit to the folder when it opens!
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT YOUR GIFT: FEBRUARY 10th, 2020, 11:59PM PT.
Get your gift done and in time! We don't want anyone to be left hanging and disappointed!
Remember to send a note/comment to your recipient so that they know you finished, too!
In years past, some artists would submit to the club and their recipient never knew it was for them. Let's try to avoid that. People should use :icon user : or :dev user : or @ user in order for their gifts to appear on the inbox of their secret santas! Or just note them!

Looking for new Mods!
Hello, Athorment here!
Adjusting to Eclipse has not been easy. Every so often i'll forget how to go check correspondence and that's not good for a group that requires accepting your art.
I am looking for 1 or 2 new mods to help run things smoothly!
What you will do is Accept Artworks that:
- Are Fire Emblem related, copying them from "Featured" to the corresponding Folder (Thanks Fire Emblem Heroes, for making it easier to memorize)
- Are Avatars based on Kris, Robin, Corrin or Byleth.
While Declining Artworks that:
- Non FE-centric artworks (Such as Smash Bros. or multi-IP pictures where Fire Emblem isnt front and center)
- Decline artworks that are incorrectly marked (No mature warning on pics that require so)
- Involve Original Characters. (Try other groups like :iconfireemblemocs: )
While also helping with group activities!
Currently only the Annual Secret Santa is available.
