Movies That Matter

A film series curated and presented through a partnership with the Caltech Center for Inclusion and Diversity, Caltech Sustainability, and the student-led Caltech Y. The films in this series address issues in various realms of science as well as social justice.

Theodore von Kármán Lectures

JPL's Theodore von Kármán Lectures bring the excitement of JPL's missions to an audience of both Caltech/JPL employees and the general public. The lectures take place at JPL. Science Journeys

Caltech graduate students and postdoctoral scholars explore a range of scientific topics that will pique students' curiosity and provide educators with supplemental resources to continue that exploration in the classroom.

Programs are designed for grades 5–9, but everyone is welcome to attend.

Watson Lectures

Named for the late Earnest C. Watson, who founded the series in 1922, these lectures feature speakers from Caltech speaking on their cutting-edge research. The lectures are presented in person inside Beckman Auditorium and are available online. They are free and open to the public. Watch past Watson Lectures on Caltech's YouTube channel.
