About Our Service
Oak Ridge Transit is operated by the East Tennessee Human Resource Agency. We provide service within the city limits of Oak Ridge.
Oak Ridge Transit is open Monday thru Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.
We operate a door to door service for anyone who requires assistance.
Scheduling
Reservations may be made from 8:00-4:30 pm by calling 865-482-2785. All trip requests need to be called in 24 hours prior to your trip.
Additional stops may be made during one's trip, however they need to be scheduled during the time of the reservation, and will be charged as an additional trip. Standing reservations may be made for routine appointments.
Fares
The cost to ride is $2.00 per one way trip.
Holidays
Oak Ridge Transit observes New Years Day, July 4th, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
Service Area
Oak Ridge Transit provides trip that begin in the City limits of Oak Ridge and end in the City limits. All additional stop must be within the City limits.
