Compliance is essential to our commitment to continual improvement and to fulfil our company, legal, and stakeholder obligations. That’s why we have an established compliance and data protection team.

Quality, environmental, energy, and information security policies

We’re committed to providing high quality services and advice that consistently meets customers’ requirements and exceeds their expectations. We continually improve our activity, including our management systems and procedures, ensuring we are meeting all legal requirements and those of BS EN ISO 9001:2015.

We have implemented these policies throughout the organisation by:

  • Maximising emission savings from our activities and minimising our energy use associated with building management and travel.
  • Reducing overall waste and improving levels of recycling.
  • Working with suppliers to mutually improve environmental performance.
  • Favouring procurement from those that do and using ethical suppliers and sustainable sources wherever we can.
  • Undertaking measures to ensure information security and data protection management.

We have developed an integrated management system which incorporates our quality, environmental, energy, and information security policies into a framework for establishing and reviewing relevant objectives, which are accessible and understood by all staff.

Our carbon reduction plan

Energy Saving Trust is committed to achieving net zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2045. Our carbon reduction plan PPN-0621 outlines our baseline emissions, steps we have taken to reduce emissions through our carbon reduction initiatives, and our future plans for emissions reduction.

This statement has been approved by Energy Saving Trust’s senior leadership team.
